For the past few days, there has been a lot of confusion over the selection of TDP candidates for the upcoming municipal pollsVijayawada. On one side, it is TDP Vijayawada MP Keshineni Nani and dissent TDP leaders on the other hand are in the fight.
Opposing Nani’s decisions, his rival groups of TDP turned as rebels. This comes the same for the mayoral seat as well. In this situation, everyone is excited and tense about the final decision of the TDP high command. Though Nani holds power as MP, there are two big rival groups who constitute the majority of the cadre in the Vijayawada.
Now, the TDP has recently finalized the name of the candidate for the Vijayawada mayoral seat. TDP AP president Atchennaidu has finalized Shweta, daughter of MP Keshineni Nani, as the mayoral candidate.
For the past few days, it was interesting to see who would be chosen as the TDP mayoral candidate. The leaders split into three groups and disagreed with one another. Former MLA Bonda Uma is demanded that the candidate from the Vijayawada Central should be the mayor. However, it was Nani’s word that proved to be final in Vijayawada.
